Jinhee Kong
Jinhee Kong is a graduate student intern currently pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at North Carolina State University. With a background in public health and wellness coaching, Jinhee brings valuable expertise to her work. She earned a Master of Public Health in Community Health Education from UNC Greensboro and is a National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach. Drawing on experience supporting both college students and adults, Jinhee employs evidence-based, person-centered methods to empower clients in achieving their wellness goals. Her approach integrates strength-based, cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, solution-focused brief counseling, narrative therapy, and motivational interviewing techniques.
Having grown up in South Korea, Jinhee has a deep understanding of the complexities and challenges that come with cross-cultural experiences. She is passionate about advocating for cultural diversity and inclusion, and is committed to supporting clients from a wide variety of backgrounds. Jinhee strives to create a safe, welcoming environment where each client is recognized as the expert in their own life and encouraged to draw upon their inner strengths.
